Encore is a fully independent non profit thrift store, not affiliated with any particular church or cause. We support a variety of local charities with goods and services. Everyone who works at Encore is a volunteer and all of our merchandise comes from donations by individuals.
Items received are sorted, cleaned and distributed with the highest quality goods retained for sale. Encore supports organizations that serve the homeless, women and children in crisis, animals, clean water projects, the elderly, early childhood education and job training programs. Families who have been impacted by fire, flood or other life changing events are referred directly to us for assistance. Encore also serves as a job skills training location for challenged individuals.
Everyone that makes Encore Thrift Store function is a Volunteer! We are always looking for new volunteers to help run our store and give back to the community! If you are looking for a great cause and want to lend your time, contact us through our contact page, give us a call, or stop in the store to inquire for more information on becoming a volunteer.
No donation goes to waste at Encore Thrift Store; over 50% of donations are directly distributed without going to the sales floor. Then when our sales inventory is getting high, we remove the items that have been on the shelves for an extended period of time and send them to special donation drives (Jeans for Teens, 100 Neediest, etc). Out motto is “let nothing go to waste!”
We are always looking for more opportunities to give back to the community. If you are interested in having Encore lend support to your charity, visit our contact page and fill out a form, or call our number for more information.
